Perhaps we bumped into some of the same people. <br /><br />The culture in Asia is so very different than the Euro-American mindset that it is still a difficult mission to this day. It seemed missionaries and the lessons were oblivious to the fact that most Japanese had no clue as to the relevance of many theological or historical concepts we take for granted, and that was a huge frustration of mine while serving there. I attempted to mold it to their world, but alas, it is a difficult task indeed.<br />Great review, Blair. I'm very interested in reading this one.
