The greatest examples of anti-Mormon violence lies in the creation of the Republican Party on the platform of exterminating polygamy (and slavery) the "twin relics of barbarism" as they put it.<br /><br />The fact remains that Mormon candidates like Mitt Romney are still being berated on the basis that they are unfit for office because Mormonism is a demonic cult.
